Mercury EV Tech Founder Jayesh Thakkar Awarded Honorary Doctorate

Vadodara (Gujarat) [India], December 18: Bharath Virtual University for Peace and Education continues to honor those doing outstanding work in the society with doctorate. In this order, Jayesh Thakkar, founder of Mercury EV Tech, has been awarded an honorary doctorate for social service by Dr. Pradyumn Sinha, National Director of the United Nations Organization Geneva-registered Bharath Virtual University for Peace and Education.

Jayesh Thakkar, founder of Mercury EV Tech, has been organizing garba on a non-commercial basis for over two decades. To preserve the heritage of Gujarati culture, they give free entry to women garba players since its inception. Not only this, they have been doing garba only for social purpose without taking any kind of advertisement and sponsorship. The university took note of this and various other philanthropic activities Jayesh Thakkar does under this Samvedan Charitable Trust and awarded him this honour.

Dr. Pradyumn Sinha said that social worker Jayesh Thakkar has been organizing garba on a large scale for the past many years without taking even a single rupee as a donation. Jayesh Thakkar is always ready to serve the poor. Every possible effort is being made for the education, health and overall development of the poor. In view of his services, he is being awarded an honorary doctorate in social service for his contribution to literature, culture and social development.

Dr. Jayesh Thakkar was felicitated. Along with this he was also awarded Dada Shri Babu Ram Vilas Singh Samman from Rashtra Sarjan Abhiyan was also honored by National President Dr. Pradyumn Sinha for literature, culture and society building. Syndicate and Senate member of M S University Jigar Inamdar was also present during the ceremony.
