Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], October 29: On 29th October 2023, in a remarkable ceremony, Gujarat’s Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel awarded the title of “Sanskrutik Yoddhas” (Cultural Warriors) to 8 remarkable individuals. This ceremony was organized by the Youth and Cultural Activities Department, in collaboration with the Save Culture Foundation.
During the Gujarat Cultural Warrior (Sanskrutik Yoddha) Award ceremony, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel emphasized the significant changes in education and culture due to the efforts of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He pointed out achievements such as the construction of the Ram Mandir, the return of 231 ancient idols to India, and the proposal to emphasize value-based education in the new education policy. The Hon’ble Chief Minister congratulated the Hon’ble Youth and Cultural Activities Department and the Save Culture Foundation for acknowledging and honoring those dedicated to preserving our traditions, culture, and values.
On this special occasion, the Hon’ble Chief Minister referred to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as a guardian and promoter of Indian culture. He commended the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for reshaping people’s perceptions of politics and politicians. The Sanskrutik Yoddhas (Cultural Warriors) receive ongoing support from the government’s initiatives aimed at empowering the youth. He also called upon all citizens to become Sanskrutik Yoddhas (Cultural Warriors) and contribute to this noble cause.
Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Harsh Sanghvi praised the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for fostering a sense of nationalism among every Indian by showcasing India’s identity to the world. He emphasized the importance of joint families and social unity in our culture. Gujarat, under the guidance of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, is actively working to preserve these values.
Shri Harsh Sanghvi also spoke about the anti-drug campaign and the efforts of the state’s police department. Over the last two years, they have successfully helped thousands of young people break free from drug addiction. A combination of counseling and legal measures has prevented numerous families from breaking apart.
He highlighted that the fight against social problems isn’t solely the government’s responsibility; it’s a collective effort. Shri. Harsh Sanghvi urged parents to provide more than just material comforts and expensive items to their children. It’s equally essential to instill moral values and responsibilities. He hoped that the Sanskrutik Yoddha (Cultural Warrior) Award would inspire others to champion our culture and traditions.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Central Information Commissioner Mr. Uday Mahurkar, MLAs Mr. Kaushikbhai Jain and Mr. Babusinh Jadav, Ahmedabad City Mayor Ms. Pratibha Jain, renowned spiritual guru Parmatmanandji, Secretary of the Hon’ble Youth and Cultural Activities Department Mr. Ashwini Kumar, and Deputy Secretary Mr. K.S.
